The new generation optimized further

  • UltraEta®Topology
  • Natural convection cooling
  • Cloud connected

Performance and reliability are what counts in large PV systems. The second generation of the string inverter REFUsol 40K/46K offers both. With up to 46 kVA output power for medium voltage feed-in and its patented 5 level UltraEta®topology, it generates the best possible energy yield at every irradiation level. The inverter designed with passive cooling without external fan eliminates costly maintenance and saves O&M costs.

Simple handling, convincing technology

Our string inverters are installed worldwide and are compatible to all major grid requirements. They can be used for voltage levels from 220 V to 460 V. We have also have a special UL series product line that complies to all the unique and specific requirements of the North American market.

The innovative DC and AC connection with Phoenix Contact T-LOX technology allows aluminum and copper cables up to a cross-section of 50 mm² to be connected in seconds. Due to the reduction to a single DC connection on the solar inverter, a large variety of customized number of external DC connection boxes can be used.

The REFUsol 40K/46K with its high-precision MPP tracker and central string input gives the system planner all the freedom he needs: The device scores in the vicinity of the module strings as well as grouped around the medium-voltage transformer due to its modular design.

Placing the solar inverters close to the transformer stations offers several advantages: In addition to the lower specific losses on the DC side, Ethernet cabling for monitoring is also considerably simplified. Only the string connection boxes of the desired variant need to be installed in the field.
